In 2022, Vail received an A- score from the Climate Disclosure Project.  CDP runs the global environmental disclosure system. Each year CDP supports thousands of companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their risks and opportunities on climate change, water security and deforestation.

An A- score indicates that Vail has has demonstrated best practice standards across adaptation and mitigation, has set ambitious goals and has made progress towards achieving those goals.
